Warranty

We want you to be satisfied with our products in the long term. Therefore, you receive a 5‑year manufacturer’s warranty on all items purchased from us, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory warranty rights, which remain unaffected by these terms.

1. Scope of the Warranty

The manufacturer’s warranty covers material and manufacturing defects that occur despite proper use. This includes in particular:

  • Failures of electronic components not caused by external influences

  • Defects in workmanship or design

  • Defective LED modules or drivers resulting from production faults

In the event of a warranty claim, we will decide at our discretion whether to repair the product, replace it, or provide an equivalent replacement solution.

2. Exclusions from the Warranty

The warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by the following circumstances:

Improper use or installation

  • Incorrect installation

  • Installation by unqualified persons

  • Use outside the intended application areas

  • Overloading, incorrect voltage, or incompatible dimmers/controllers

  • Failure to follow operating or installation instructions

 

External influences

  • Moisture, flooding, fire, extreme temperatures

  • Natural events (e.g., lightning, storms, earthquakes)

  • Mechanical damage such as impacts, breakage, scratches, deformation

  • Dust, dirt, or corrosion unless the product is designed for such conditions

  • Damage caused by animals (e.g., insects, rodents)

 

Tampering with the product

  • Unauthorized repairs or opening of the product

  • Use of non‑original spare parts or accessories

  • Damage to the integrity of the product (e.g., damaged housing)

 

Consumables and components with limited lifespan

  • Power supplies, batteries, seals, accessories

  • LED drivers or other components subject to natural wear

 

Missing documentation

  • Loss of the purchase receipt

  • Loss of any included warranty card

 

3. Transport Damage

If products are visibly damaged upon delivery, the customer must report this immediately to the shipping service provider. Transport damage is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

4. Requirements for Making a Warranty Claim

To process a warranty claim, we require:

  • A description of the defect

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)

  • Photos or videos documenting the defect, if possible
